COA Region IX recognized for Outstanding Accounting Office for 2020

 COA Region IX was recently recognized  as one of the Outstanding Accounting Offices in the National Government Sector of the country for 2020. The recognition was conferred by the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines, Inc. (AGAP) to the COA IX  Finance Unit  for exhibiting an excellent standing in quality, timeliness, and accuracy of its financial reports for 2020.

The prestigious virtual awarding ceremony was held during the opening of the AGAP 2021 Annual Convention-Seminar on October 20, 2021,  with Honorable Chairperson Michael G. Aguinaldo as keynote speaker.

Under the leadership of Regional Director Visitacion Q. Mendoza and Administration, Training and Finance Service Chief Director Arlene Mar Realiza, the COA ROIX Finance Office is composed of the following, Ric Jason D. Tan  – Accountant IV/Regional Accountant;  Diana Bucoy-Acting Budget Officer;  Salimar Kulani-Accountant III, Lila Andrea Lao (Accounting staff in CY 2020), Sheila Pervandos-Acting Cashier, Charmaine Derama-Accounting Staff and Alexis Fonollera-Accounting Staff.
