Commission on Audit (COA) Commissioner Roland C. Pondoc conducted a Crash Course on COA Project Reporting of Infrastructure Schedule Monitoring System (PRISM) at the Top Plaza Hotel, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte on August 7, 2023.

The course was attended by 61 COA personnel including supervising auditors/regional supervising auditors, section chiefs and audit team leaders coming from the local government audit sector and the  different infrastructure  agencies of the national and corporate government audit sectors.

“PRISM is an application designed for monitoring, evaluation and reporting of different government infrastructure projects through different platforms such as mobile and web”, said Commissioner Pondoc.

The project signifies transparent elements that will refract data to produce spectacular and useful display of reports and open-data visualization platform for decision making and public use.

PRISM can be utilized through PRISM Mobile App and PRISM Web Portal which includes PRISM Admin Portal and PRISM Public Portal.

Through the mobile app, users may be able to capture photo and geo tag/find nearby government projects from different map integration. Meanwhile, web portal allows browsing of projects by location, viewing of uploaded geotagged photos from different map integration. Both have user-friendly interface and navigation and do not collect Personal Identifiable Information (PII) to ensure safety, privacy and security of the public.

PRISM aims to promote accountability and transparency through collection of audit-infrastructure data for analytical reports and visualization.
