COA IX applauds Its Five New Lawyers and Three ILO Auditors

COA Regional Office IX congratulates its new set of lawyers: Atty. Juan Miguel S. Ballesteros, Atty. Aisha Mie Faith M. Fernandez, Atty. Liezel O. Lagara, Atty. Karlyzel S. Pelaez and Atty. Cristal K. Rollo. The much awaited results of the 2023 Bar Examinations were released by the Supreme Court on December 5, 2023. The new lawyers were officially welcomed in the legal profession during their oath-taking and roll signing on December 22, 2023 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City.

COA IX also commends three of its personnel namely, Jeselton Jae E. Andres (State Auditor IV), Atty. Ma. Cheryl P. Cardenas (State Auditor IV) and Alexa N. Potayre (State Auditor II) for having been selected from the pool of International Audit Relations Office (IARO) Auditors to perform interim audit of the International Labour Organization (ILO) for financial year 2023. Pursuant to IARO Office Order No. 2023-026 dated September 11, 2023 issued by Chairperson Gamaliel A. Cordoba, Mr. Andres and Ms. Potayre were authorized to travel to the ILO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland whereas Atty. Cardenas was to travel to the ILO Regional Office for Africa in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. The interim audit was scheduled from October 21 to November 17, 2023.
